The Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Regions 6 & 7 student competition in Sparks, Nevada from Feb 8-11 is kind of a big deal. Here are the stats as of Friday, Feb 3, 2017 (5 days before the event starts):
Participating Universities = 45
Number of States = 16
Total Teams = 182
Number of Students on a Team = 1092
Number of Alternates = 248
Number of Student Volunteers = 22
Total Number of Students = 1362
Faculty and Faculty Coaches = 160
Companies Participating in the Job Fair = 83
Companies Attending = 130
Registered Industry Attendees = 984
And they are still counting…

Boise State University has five teams participating this year, with 37 students involved. The categories we are competing in this year are:
